Death threats for blogging

Kathy Sierra writes – or, rather, used to write – the rather good Creating Passionate Users blog. It’s rammed with thought-provoking articles on how to do just that. So I was gobsmacked to read that she’s been on the receiving end of death threats on her blog. And it’s not just some psychos that have been doing it and Kathy has stopped writing as a result: “I do not want to be part of a culture,” says Kathy “Where this is done not by some random person, but by some of the most respected people in the tech blogging world.” Incredible.
