At LoveHoney We have to keep on top of the media so we can make sure we’re being mentioned in all the right places. At one end of our reading list are mainstream women’s mags like Cosmopolitanand New Woman, with their monthly diet of glossy celebs, sex and fashion. At the other end of the scale is UK contact magazine Desire Contacts, which should have “Open with Caution” stamped across the front. Essentially it’s a print version of Adult Friend Finder, but somehow the fact that people have taken the trouble to post their pictures into a magazine makes it seem all the more real. And not a little unnerving. The Jan / Feb 2007 contents page has possibly the best advert for swinging / dogging / wife-swapping I have ever seen, in the form of a picture sent in buy a couple who obviously enjoy “the scene”. Who said romance was dead…?
What I really like about this picture is the way that her head has been shoved so far into the boot of the car that it’s as if she’s trying to find some long-lost monkey-wrench. Or maybe they’ve just lost their sandwiches.
His style is pretty cool, too, striking a slightly showy pose as he gives his wife (?) a look-no-hands rogering.
